Fuss Free Fresh Toast

A YUMMY WEEKEND BREAKFAST

The perfect addition to your easy brunch recipes! A super easy dish to make, but so delicious and you can make your own by adding your toppings of choice! I love making this on a Sunday morning with a big mug of coffee!

Serves: 2. Cooking Time: 10 minutes


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large slices of bread (depending on size of slices)

  • 2 eggs

  • 80ml milk of choice

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • Coconut oil or butter to fry

  • Toppings: Greek yogurt, blueberries, almond butter, maple syrup, dark chocolate chunks

METHOD

  1. In a bowl, whisk together your egg, milk, cinnamon and vanilla essence.

  2. Soak your slices of bread in the egg mixture for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Heat some coconut oil in a frying pan on a medium-high heat. Carefully lift your slices of bread and fry your French toast for 2-3minutes each side until golden brown.

  4. Enjoy warm and serve with your toppings of choice!
