INSTANT OATS
Oats are one of my favourite ingredients to base my breakfasts on! However if you are like me, sometimes I am not as always prepared the night before to make overnight oats (well done if you are!). This instant overnight oats recipe works because it uses protein powder which brings the mixture together almost instantly, rather then having to wait for the oats to soak overnight! It is so perfect for a quick morning breakfast - and the best thing about it, is it is completely customisable! Mix up if you want it vegan/non-vegan, or use different fruits or different protein powder for a new flavour!

Serves: 1. Preparation Time: 5 minutes.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup milk of choice
1 heaped tbsp of protein powder ( I use a vegan vanilla blend, but it would work with any!)
1 heaped tbsp plain yogurt (I love a Greek yogurt)
Handful of blueberries
Sprinkle of Chia seeds/ pumpkin seeds/ sunflower seeds/ cacao nibs
1 tbsp maple syrup to drizzle
METHOD
Mix together the oats and protein powder together in a bowl. Then add the milk and yogurt into the mixture.
Top with blueberries, seeds and maple syrup and enjoy!
