SNACKS EVERYDAY
One thing that I know I love and need in my daily life is snacks! My prime snacking time is normally when I come in from work and am going to try and do some exercise before dinner, but am ravenously hungry! I am sure as you read this, you can also think of your prime snacking time!
These peanut butter protein balls are perfect for just that! Not only do they only take 5 minutes to make (!), they also are a no-bake recipe and don't require a food processor! The protein bites can also easily be made vegan and gluten free.

Makes: 9 protein balls. Cooking Time: 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter (I I find that peanut butter using100% peanuts, is best)
1/4 cup date syrup or honey
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup rolled oats (use gluten free if needed)
1/3 cup vanilla protein powder (I use a vegan blend)
1/3 cup milled flaxseed or linseed (If you have a non-milled version, simply put the seeds into a blender and pulse until it forms a 'course flour' consistency)
1 tbsp chia seeds
METHOD
Add all the wet ingredients (peanut butter, date syrup and vanilla essence) into a mixing bowl and mix to combine.
Next add all the dry ingredients (oats, protein powder, flaxseed and chia seeds) and mix together to combine. At this point your dough should be sticking together, however if it is still crumbly add a small amount of extra peanut butter and/or date syrup.
Finally use a table spoon to scoop out your mixture and roll into 9 balls using your hands.
Consume immediately or store for up to 1 week in the fridge in an airtight container!
Happy Baking!
