Raspberry Chia Jam - Only 3 Ingredients!

YES, ITS ONLY 3 INGREDIENTS

The simplest and easiest way to make jam, without the added sugar and with all the fibre from your delicious raspberries and chia seeds! Chia seeds are packed with so many nutritional benefits such as improving bone health [1], cardiac health [2], blood sugar management [3] and your digestive health as they contain a massive 9g fibre for every 25g portion! [4]. UK Health Government guidelines advise you should have 30g fibre in your diet daily to maintain a healthy gut microbiome. A diet low in fibre can contrite to a number of health issues [5].

Serves: 1. Cooking Time: 5 minutes


INGREDIENTS
  • 50g frozen raspberries

  • 1 tsp maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

METHOD

  1. Place frozen raspberries into a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 2 minutes.

  2. Add maple syrup and chia seeds to your raspberries and stir together.

  3. Leave to sit for 5 minutes, after 5minutes your jam should be formed!

(Serving idea: Toast sourdough bread, spread with a layer of peanut butter, a layer of your raspberry chia jam and sprinkle with pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and desiccated coconut).
